The following is pictures after we finally completed the under the house plumbing job. This was a joyous day. The next project is wiring the rooms for lights and outlets (better know as hot attic work).

We got our original bath put back together as well. Wow, it was a mess for a while.

Remodeling continues

We built a wall to seperate the closet from the bathroom.

another view of room.

one more view from a different point.

Al cut a hole in the floor to run plumbing to the new bath room. Not enough crawl space to do it safely under the house.

Plumbing

Well we had to get under the house to replace plumbing (cast iron) with PVC so we can add on the new bathroom plumbing. the crawl space is ridiculously small, or we are too fat (could be a little of both). We decided to take the floor out of the bathroom and work from above. Well it was a good idea but then we got into a mess. I had to call Allen to come and rescue us. He spent all day with us and helped us get a toilet and a tub functioning. THANK YOU ALLEN!

Remodeling project

This is Lawson and Bailey in the living room. The door behind them leads into the room we are converting to a bath and walkin closet.
We have been saving and buying items at the Habitat for Humanity re-store and Mazers to do this remodel project. If any of you have ever been in our home you know we have minimal bathroom and closet space. I will eventually post before, during and after pictures. We are doing all the work ourselves. Being middle age, we have to work on a little at a time to keep from hurting ourselves. It strengthen our relationship when we work on projects together. I am looking forward to it but I know it's gonna be hard work.

This is a picture of Lawson in 2007 in the room we are converting into a bathroom. It's the only pre-project picture of the room I could find.

This is day one working on the room.

We striped off the wall paper boarder, took off the molding, remove window facings and doors.

Then we cut a doorway into our bedroom.

It doesn't look like much but it took mamaw and papaw all day the first Saturday to do this stuff.
